Carmarthenshire Green Party Committee Meeting via Zoom on 19/11/2020
Present: Mark – Coordinator, Julia – Treasurer, Kat – Elections Officer, Sarah – Communications Officer and Bev – Membership Secretary.

Treasurer
Julia gave the following update on the Treasury position and that the necessary paperwork has been completed to transfer signatory to the new committee.
Membership Secretary
Bev has been working on the new Action Network platform to begin an introductory email to all members and a survey about the new Carmarthenshire Green Party and our future plans.
Bev has identified 5 main towns to use as hubs for our meetings, as they are each within 10 miles from current party members.
Communication Officer
Sarah has been working on the new Carmarthenshire Green Party website and re-launching the CarmarthenshireGreen Facebook page. Twitter and Instagram accounts will be created soon too.
Elections Officer
Kat has been attending the fortnightly Mid and West Campaign meetings and has taken on the as campaign manager for Mid & West as a job share.
Kat has also been attending the quarterly Wales Green Party Council meetings and Mark will also attend in future too.
Next Members Meeting
We are hoping to be fully set up to hold the next all members meeting in January 2021 once Bev has full access to contact members.
We are also hoping to stand a candidate in the next Senedd election in May 2021 further information about this will be announced soon.
Any Other Business
Ideas were discussed for a formal Carmarthenshire Green Party launch. It was agreed to leave this for now until at least next year, possibly when we have a candidate for the area so that we can generate media coverage for this at the same time.
