Chair (Mark)
We are in the process of setting up Carmarthenshire Green Party email addresses for each of the committee members. Once we have these we can begin setting up social media accounts and contacting local party members.
Mark is also now the admin of the local party Facebook group. This group will be used as a community hub for local party members and the Facebook Page will be used to post relevant Green Party of England and Wales issues and updates.
Membership Secretary (Bev)
Bev has created and member survey that will sent out once we have the new party email addresses set up.
Treasurer (Julia)
Updated on bank account. Transfer of account waiting for second signatory to sign off paperwork.
Proposed by Bev: Add Sarah as signatory to the bank account (as well as Julia). Seconded by Mark. Julia to check what paperwork is required for this.
Suggested looking into changing bank account to Triodos bank or Ecological Building Society instead of Co-op Bank.
Communication Officer
It was agreed to change Facebook page @ acount name from CarmarthenGreens to CarmarthenshireGreens to show that we cover the whole county not just the town.
Mark proposed changing the photo of the website landing page – all agreed, need to find a suitable picture and will be updated shortly.
Any Other Business
If we get email addresses sorted before the next scheduled meeting, we may have an interim meeting to discuss arranging a member’s meeting or anything that crops up in the meantime.
